We welcome you to Trinity United Methodist Church with joy because we believe you will find God blessing you with new truth, new opportunities to serve, and new relationships through the worship life, study life, servant life, and fellowship life of this place.

We are a congregation called to:
-Reach a variety of generations with worship that proclaims the eternal Good News of Jesus Christ in a way that is clear and compelling;
-Provide a network of small groups and Bible study opportunities where seekers can become believers and believers can become servant followers of Christ;
-Respond to the Holy Spirit by equipping the people of God for the ministry of sharing the gospel, feeding the hungry, welcoming the stranger, and visiting the lonely. At Trinity every member is in ministry!

As imperfect as we are, we believe you will find joy, grace, encouragement, challenging truth, and the living God in us and between us. Welcome to Trinity!

What is a United Methodist?
United Methodists are the second largest Protestant denomination in America.

United Methodists hold to the historic doctrines of the Christian faith. We are evangelical, but moderates rather than fundamentalists. We value the intellect and modern science, while at the same time looking to the Bible as the authoritative guide for faith and practice. Methodists have a passionate faith with strong convictions, but we also recognize that the world is not always black and white. We are willing to ask questions, to wrestle with difficult issues, and to do so with grace and compassion.

United Methodists have been known for our emphasis on a personal faith, lived out in concrete ways in the world. We have historically valued well-informed and passionate preaching, worship that was lively, and small groups where people could grow in faith.

United Methodists have open hearts, and open minds–and welcome anyone interested in learning more about the Christian faith.

Resolving differences …
It is our prayer that all members and attenders of Trinity United Methodist Church will follow the example of Jesus in treating each other with love and respect.   Differences of opinion and conflicts are inevitable, however, our church desires to establish a policy that to help us to resolve our differences in love and maintain the unity of the body of Christ.  Our goal is that the people of  will not walk away from the church because of conflict but will work together to overcome differences and find the common ground.   Conflict may be as simple as a difference of opinion, or it may involve a disagreement over church doctrine, or dissatisfaction with one or more of the church’s leadership, or an argument involving two or more parties concerning the policies and direction of the church.

To that end, our Church is in the process of reviewing for adoption a conflict resolution policy for all members of Trinity United Methodist Church at the next Church Council Meeting (July 22, 2015).
