Ushers
Ushers facilitate many aspects surrounding the worship service so that all goes smoothly allowing persons to worship. Ushers at Trinity are assigned to teams. Teams work three non-consecutive months out of the year. Usher positions may be filled by persons ages 16 and over. Younger persons may serve as ushers in a team alongside a parent or family friend.
• Ushers arrive 20-25 minutes prior to his or her assigned service, Make sure offering plates are ready to be used during the offering and hand out bulletins at the doors as people arrive.
• During the Service ushers remain at the doors until 15 minutes into the service, hand out “connection” pads, record attendance and pass the offering plates. In the 8:45 service the full plates are then brought forward to the pastor.
• After the service ushers collect the “Connection” pads, Pick up any dropped bulletins, trash, etc. and bag the offering.
