Special Service Sunday, September 11
On Sunday, September 11, 2011, Trinity will mark the 10th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center. Members of the Elkhart Fire and Police Departments have been invited to come to our 8:45 service so that we might honor Elkhart's first responders, thank them and pray for them. We will have some special music and will offer each police officer and fire fighter in Elkhart a blue-covered copy of Strength for Service to God and Country, the daily devotional book published by the General Commission on United Methodist Men that we make available to men and women in our military. 250 copies of the devotional book have been ordered so we can have them available to all members of the departments.
